I bring a lifetime of curiosity and exploration of the human experience to my work as a counsellor. I also bring a lifetime of seeking, in both the psychological and spiritual realms, for something inside of me that is indestructible and whole; something untouched by all the traumas and difficulties that one encounters in life.


From a place of wholeness, I help people realize that they have everything inside of them, right now, to live life more fully, without mental or emotional constraints.  


I am happily married with four beautiful children. This life experience, beautifully and incidentally, adds to my professional foundation. 

I work as a counsellor in my private practice for individuals and couples, offering session both in person and online.

Qualifications and Trainings

I am  trained in  Mindfulness Centered Couples Therapy, which is also an evidence-based treatment for couples.

  • Professional member of the Canadian Professional Counselling Association (CPCA)

  • Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC)

  • Certified EMDR Therapist and Member of EMDR* Canada and an affiliate member of EMDRIA (EMDR International Association) 

  • Certified IFS- Informed EMDR Therapist

  • Certified psychedelic-assisted Therapist 

  • Attachment-focused therapist and Life Coach

  • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional

*EMDR is an evidenced-based treatment for many issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, social phobias, panic attacks, eating disorders, chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Approach & Perspectives

We are essentially whole just as we are. Wholeness is our true nature and is unchanged by the events of our lives.  We've simply lost the connection to who we really are. Stressful life experiences and our interpretation of them can obstruct and block our connection to our true nature. We become unhappy, disconnected, fragmented, anxious, and often live in a constant state of survival.

Automatic behaviors and habitual ways of thinking, feeling  "living on autopilot" - prevent us from being fully alive.

 

In a warm and gentle way, we will look together into your past baggage, present issues and address future concerns. I want to help you to find and release what is blocking you from feeling connected, happy, and free from inner constraints.

 

My goal is to empower you to understand what core issues might be holding you back, to heal your past wounds and traumas, and increase your awareness. So you can step into the life you are meant to live.
